My name is Sarah and I am so excited to be moving into my senior year of the Midwifery Education Program with Talbot Creek Midwives. I completed my honours BA in Child Health at Brock University. This program allowed a lot of freedom in my research where I found myself continuously returning to the topic of midwifery. After graduation I completed the fast track Early Childhood Education program at Fanshawe College and began caring for infants at a local center here in London. While I loved caring for infants, I found myself longing to work with parents throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. A short time later I began my journey into midwifery at McMaster University. Myself, my husband, and my three children relocated to Hamilton for the first half of the program and we were overjoyed to move back to London for my senior years.
Outside of midwifery I enjoy spending time with my family, we love being outdoors, exploring parks and beaches, hiking, biking, swimming and exploring. When I have a spare moment, I enjoy curling up with a good book and a cup of tea.
